As the first county show of the season, it’s always a highlight in the summer events calendar. And this year’s shaping up to be another brilliant show with 1000s of visitors expected to attend from Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and beyond.
Electricity must have been pre-booked directly with our suppliers McConnell's and you should have received any relevant paperwork from them. Any electricity queries should be directed to them at

All trade stands are entered free of charge for a chance to win! The winner will receive a trophy and there will be a photo opportunity which will be posted on our social media sites and newsletters.
We don’t have any mobility scooters at the showground, but many local companies do. On being ‘able world’ in Newark - 01636 703598
No, there isn’t a cash point on site or cash back. There are places with a cash point near the showground you can go to before entry to the show. The closest ones are:
Esso Petrol Station and Shell petrol station located A17 Winthorpe Roundabout, Newark NG24 2NY.
Lincolnshire Co-op Collingham Food Store - High St, Collingham, Newark NG23 7LB
Lincolnshire Co-op The Bridge Food Store - The Bridge, Lincoln Rd, Newark NG24 2DQ
They will be available to collect upon arrival at PURPLE GATE only during set up times. If you have pre-paid for postage, the pack will be posted 2 weeks prior to the show. Your pack will include 1 vehicle pass, Trade wristbands, static vehicle pass (if applicable), showground map so you can locate your stand and a useful information sheet.
Your parking pass must be affixed to vehicle windscreens and will be issued free of charge for one vehicle per stand booking only. Please write your details onto the pass as soon as you can. Parking is available at PURPLE GATE.
Wristbands Allocated:
Up to 16 sq.m = 2 wristbands
17 – 36 sq.m = 3 wristbands
36 - 72 sq.m = 4 wristbands
Over 72 sq.m = 6 wristbands max
Contractors setting up on your behalfwill require a vehicle pass to gain access to the showground during set up times only. Please call us by 2nd May with the contractor name and number of vehicles so that we can leave a separate pack at the PURPLE GATE cabin for them to collect and use on set-up days only, it will not admit them entry on show day.
Set up times: Friday 09 May 08:30 – 19:00, Saturday 10 May – 06:30 – 08:30.
Please note, that a £50 CASH deposit system will be in place for any vehicle (other than those who have a static vehicle pass) requiring access onto the showground on Saturday morning. Providing your vehicle is removed by 08:30 and the pass is returned, you will receive a refund.
Breakdown times: – 18:00 – 20:00 Saturday 10 May & 8:00 - 12:00 Sunday 11 May
The public opening times are Saturday 10 May 9.00 - 17.00.
1 carer goes free if accompanied by 1 disabled adult purchasing a ticket.
If you are a carer to a disabled child, the carer goes free but there must be 1 full paying adult per carer to qualify.
When ordering your tickets online, please upload your proof of caring status — This can be any official government documentation. Carer tickets are only available until 23.59pm on 30th April 2025.
Exhibitor wristband must be worn for set-up, show day and break down and will be checked by security upon entering the showground. If additional wristbands are required, you must purchase these on showing scene only at £14.00 each, no later than 2nd May 2025. Extra day tickets required after this date can be purchased with cash only at the Show Team Cabin during set up times. Children under 16 are free.
